APPTIUM Technologies is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager, who will be responsible for successfully managing Operations and Development activities to complete delivery of a product. As a Technical Project Manager, you will work closely with the team to support business goals and to help ensure Apptium products are released in a timely manner.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and execute the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for application development.
• Manage scope, schedules, and provide day-to-day guidance to technical teams in coordination with leadership.
• Liaise with the customer, providing capability demonstrations and attending planning meetings that are both technical and operational in nature.
• Effectively Communicates Project timelines, milestones and estimated delivery dates to Senior Management.
• Efficiently Drives Operations and Development to meet delivery deadlines.
 
• Plan and coordinate project activities across business units, including project team meetings and related communications.
• Work with department leads to create comprehensive project timelines and project structures.
• Facilitate discussions to drive decision-making and move projects toward completion.
• Apply organizational knowledge to anticipate issues and mitigate adverse scheduling impacts on other business units and/or project timelines.
• Maintain proper communication channels to alert senior management of anticipated risks and, as needed, evaluate risks to identify possible solutions.
• Participates in daily standup’s and coordinates sprints.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience, with a minimum of five (5) years in system/software solution development and delivery.
• Experience managing full life cycle software development (SDLC) projects using Agile methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in support of large-scale systems development.
• Strong technical acumen to identify dependencies and risks in software development projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
• Certified Scrum Master is a plus.
• Understanding of Telecommunications industry standards and methodologies is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with MAC is a plus.
