Apptium is seeking a highly organized and proactive System Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and supporting the internal systems and network infrastructure of the organization. This role focuses on the management of workstations, devices, network infrastructure, and application support.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• End-User Support: Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues for employees. Resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.

• Device Management: Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, and other end-user devices, ensuring all are secure and up to date.

• Network Infrastructure: Manage and monitor local area networks (LANs), wireless networks, and other connectivity systems to ensure seamless communication across departments.

• Security Management: Implement and maintain system security policies for endpoint devices, including anti-virus software, encryption, and firewalls.

• Software Deployment & Licensing: Ensure that software is properly installed, configured, and licensed across the organization. Handle updates and patches for all relevant applications.

• Inventory Management: Track and manage the inventory of IT hardware, ensuring proper records are maintained for all devices.

• Collaboration with Other Teams: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and address any technical needs across the organization.

• System Monitoring: Proactively monitor device performance and system alerts to identify and resolve issues before they impact productivity.

• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, software installations, network setups, and troubleshooting procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• 1+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator, or similar role.

• Proficiency in managing networking devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

• Experience with endpoint security, software deployment tools, and asset management systems.

• Experience with performing system capacity analysis and planning.

• Experience with maintaining documentation, creating monitoring reports and logs.

• Strong understanding of operating systems (macOS and Windows, Linux).

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
