Apptium Technologies is actively seeking a Product Manager to own and oversee the development of their customer facing application. You will be working with a passionate team of engineers and designers in an engaging, functional way and collaborating with other departments. Apptium is looking for someone who has experience with design thinking and has a proven track record of delivering advanced technical products from the ground up.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategy - Participate in product strategy discussions and contribute to the vision and assessment of business value. Work with the engineering teams to communicate the vision and help convert the vision into features for build
• Release Planning - Plan and execute releases. Track features milestones and dependencies within and across releases. Interface with the other organizational groups and communicate upcoming releases, risks and mitigation strategies.
• Intake - Establish feature/idea intake process. Groom request and prioritize them to align with strategy. Interface with the account teams to identify solution road maps and identify platform dependencies and help plan migration and upgrades
• Customer communication - Engage with existing customers to get feedback and areas of improvements. Schedule recurring follow ups to provide updates and advertise the roadmap and upcoming features releases
• Sales support - Support the sales engineers for new proposals and demos with infrastructure requests, tailored demos and product marketing material
• Budget Planning - Assist operations in budget planning and tracking

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in B2B Product Managements or equivalent role. SaaS/PaaS preferred.
• Experience in the telecom or cable industry is mandatory
• Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its life cycle
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
